Now 10 was all I used to listen to and some Rembrant. They were the coolest and most popular thing. It was amazing listening to music that none of the people around you were hearing, it was escpecially good listning to rude songs when your parents could not hear it!

I'd better go!

Mine came with stunning orange earpieces. I have a small head so the metal strip would flop dismally about my face. It wasn't cool, but I recall vividly the thrill of lying in bed and being able to tune into myriad foreign language radio stations (don't get that on shiny DAB, now, do you?!).

And listening to the hysterical crescendo of the Sisters of Mercy's This Corrosion building like some magnificent force in my ears whilst the rest of the house slept on blissfully unaware of the drama taking place in my soul.

Er, I'll go now!
