I remember Radio Rental.  I also remember an ad for something called &#039;Electronic Sales and Rentals&#039; it had  a guy from number 96 called &#039;Joe Hashum&#039; and he was singing in it while all these dancing girls danced behind him on large boxes with the phone number on them.  The song went something like -

Electronic Sales and Rentals
Pick up phonebook and your pencil

Electronic Sales and Rentals
6  4   8  0  1 0 0 saying each number indivdually.

Well maybe they are one and same company not sure but that&#039;s what I was thinking of while reading your article.
