There can’t be a kid in the land who hasn’t built something out of Lego at some point in their life. Lego has always been a firm favourite of mine, simply because you can use it to create anything you want. There have been many kinds of Lego over the years, but the late 1970’s and early 1980’s saw the introduction of the familiar poseable Lego man that is still in use today. So, were you a Lego Town kid, did you prefer Lego Space or were you more of a Technic fan? Let us know!

Space ! Should tonk everything in this poll !
Personally I would agree, but it appears the Town Lego is doing rather well at the moment.
Lego was another of those toys that my mom said was too expensive, along with Play-Doh (got the home made variety) and pretty much anything else that was fun and popular. This was before the immitation Legos came to be so I had to wait for McDonalds to have Lego toys and then beg for Happy Meals. I still have some sort of FrankenLego somewhere comprising several different mini-kits. Hey, at least I got Happy Meals, right?
We had the home made Play-Doh too (look here for my Mum’s home recipe).
Bad luck on the Lego, but I guess the Happy Meals were some kind of consolation.
I draw your attention to the new Lego Tower Bridge kit: http://www.brothers-brick.com/2010/08/06/10214-tower-bridge-unveiled-at-brickfair-news/
Wow, impressive! Over 4000 pieces, but it’s 200 quid!
