It’s been Snickers for nearly twenty years now, but I still call them Marathon, in the same way that Starburst chews will always be Opal Fruits to me. So, which name for the peanuty, caramelly, nougaty chocolate bar do you prefer?
Marathon or Snickers? You decide...

The name was changed because of the US market but does anyone remember what Twix was called in the rest of europe?

Good question Jason. I didn’t realise Twix was known by a different name elsewhere but a little digging turned up that it was called Raider in Europe.
It also appears there have been around 30 different variations on the Twix bar in different countries, mostly limited editions, including an all chocolate one, coffee, orange and one I’d love to try, the Peanut Butter Twix. Anybody who is hooked on Peanut Butter M&Ms will know what I mean – shame you can’t get those outside of the US…
