I remember having one when I lived in Ireland. I lost it when we moved country and got another one the following christmas. Loved this toy…I always thought the jingle was “His ears are pink and his paws are too, look at all the things we’ve got for you hey poochie…” My parents used to call me poochie as my mum used to put my hair in pigtails at the side of my head so i’d look like poochie…although I loved the toy I hated the pigtails, not a good look…

I thought I am the only person that remembers Poochie dog! Because of Poochie, I became obsessed with pink dog stuffed animals as a child. I had a Poochie coin purse that I carried everywhere I went. My parents nicknamed me Poochie and made up songs about it when I cried, sometimes my brother and father will call me Poochie! I even named my yorkie-poo Poochie and I colored her ears pink… haha I realize that was a mistake!
