It was one of those movies that was advertised by a small half page strip in the regular comics (Clash of the Titans is the other one that I remember). Not sure if it was in both film and series, but the man in the suit was none other than the late Kevin Peter Hall, who, for the first two movies, in the Predator suit. I love the film, although I didn’t get around to seeing it until after the TV series had come out. Quite why they bothered changing the name I've no idea...
