I think a lot of films have taken ideas from The Breakfast Club so now a lot of the messages in the film feel a bit watered down just because we&#039;ve seen them rehashed so many times.

Thanks for the memory jog about V though.  That&#039;s one I&#039;ve been meaning to write about for a while but never quite get around to...</description>

		<description>You watch this film now and it&#039;s such hokem.  Incidenetly those at my school who liked this tended to hate the more twee fair such as the barf inducing Dirty Dancing.  And we all watched V.    But back then...LORDY! Judd Nelson&#039;s lovely face, a cool redhead (I have red hair.  It wasn&#039;t good so any positive role model EXCEPT Tiffany was welcomed), Ally Sheedy&#039;s wonderful wierdo with the big matted hair (I related to her most definately!).

All led to that other classic, St Elmo&#039;s Fire....sigh!</description>
