hi im eileen
I was about 5yrs old when i first got the comic twinkle and i read it every week for years i remember twinkle dressed up on the front cover and i got a free nurse offit in it too, it was in around 1966.
loved all the stories.
perfect for that age group too.

I was more of a Whizzer and Chips, Beano, Dandy, 2000ad and Oink! girl myself, but read my sister’s girly comics. Forgot all about Twinkle – a bit of guilty pleasure for this tomboy (but not as good as Mandy)…
